Schools department choose BPI to re-create Schools, Childcare and Nursery Finder

The Department for Children, Schools and Families have chosen BPI to recreate the successful SCAN project. The project, originally built in 2006, is being technically overhauled and updated to deliver added functionality and efficiency.
SCAN works by bringing together multiple schools and nursery data from multiple government agencies and allows anyone to search on educational establishments by location. Built in ColdFusion 8 – the system promises to enhance the already excellent functionality.
