Building a wall of kisses
15th October 2007
Jacqueline Wilson’s latest book is to hit the bookshops backed by a wall – a wall of kisses created by Big Picture Interactive (BPI).
Jacqueline Wilson’s new book Kiss - a wonderful story of first love and first heartbreak - has just been published by Random House Children’s Books.
BPI has won the contract to create a Wall of Kisses to give readers and potential readers a chance to send a little love.
Every time a kiss is added to the wall it grows a little, and each time the wall grows by two metres a randomly-selected kisser will win a copy of the book, with one kisser winning an iPod Nano when the final height of the wall is measured.
Kissers will be asked to enter their own name, email, and the recipient’s name then select a kiss. They can remain anonymous to other users of the site if they are shy.
If they are not shy, they can tell a friend, who will also be invited to add a kiss.
Users will get a one-off email once the wall is taken down, to thank them for the kisses and let them know the final height the wall reached.
