Bad lads army
26th July 2006
Big Picture Interactive has completed its first project for ITV - a game for the popular TV show, Bad Lads Army.
The show sees a group of 18 to 24-year-olds put through their paces in a gruelling training regime monitored by some of the army's toughest ex-officers.
An interactive game was required to support and promote the show and, in order to reach the widest possible audience, we developed a Flash game that is accessible both from the official Bad Lads Army website and a version that can be downloaded on to a mobile phone for on the move action.
The game itself is designed to challenge. It requires users to pick, recruit and negotiate an army-style assault course complete with trenches, walls, mud and shouting sergeants! If you can't complete a level in good time you go back to the start of the course.
As sponsors of the show, it was requested that the Lucozade brand featured in the game. This was incorporated through an added twist in the game - the requirement to keep your recruit's energy levels up by stopping and picking up Lucozade bottles along the way.
